Lately.....

Update of school and clinicals!!!

• I can basically x-ray any part of the body!!! We just finished up learning how to x-ray the skull, facial bones, sinuses etc.
• I'm at the VA right now for clinicals, tonnes of responsibility but I'm learning to do everything on my own, lots of brain storming.
• My classes are going good, Got four A's right now and a B!!! I know, I was so busy the first 2 months, drove 30 times to Fort Collins (45 min one way) that I was so tired I was definitely slacking in my classes.
• I only have 13 more clinical days and a couple more tests before Christmas time.
• Lastly I'm almost done school!!! Only 7 more months and I will be a registered X-ray technician (In the U.S.A.), and hopefully can write my Canadian national exam by Sept 20th, but may not be able to do it till Jan 2012 :(.

This guy doesn't look so good!!! Haha.

So this weekend is Thanksgiving at home, It's hard to be alone and without turkey during this time. But I am thankful that I have such a wonderful boyfriend and such an amazing family. Love you all!!

UPDATE!!!

Well I've been back in Wyoming for a week now and things have been good. Such a busy week, 28 hours of clinicals and 8 hours of class and lab. But Friday I ended the week checking of on two BE's and a SI joint. So I felt good going into the weekend, also I went to water world Saturday. It was nice to get away except the clouds followed and it was chilly. I really hope my time here goes fast so I can get home and see my parents house. Unfortunately I couldn't help them move, but well have fun decorating for Christmas. Were going to have dinner at our house this year, I'm already excited... weird? Haha, Doesn't matter how far away things are it's something to look fwd to. Like for example Cancun next sept... Well that isn't set in stone yet but it has been forever since a vacation and I think after my program I'm gonna deserve a break. Anywho, I'll post pictures soon. Miss everyone.

Summer Time!

2 weeks down, 5 weeks and one day left. Can't believe I have summer classes, I've never been in class during the summer. I'm supposed to be home working, enjoying my family. Unfortunately this was part of the deal. Although classes can be boring I am really enjoying clinicals. Such a treat to be in the field learning about everything, hands on. I definitely think 2 years would drag on without it. I am currently figuring out all the little details regarding getting certified in Canada. I think I'll be relieved once that's all said and done. Just wanna graduate, and come home. Settle down... well and Cancun, can't wait for that. That's sure gonna be a nice graduation gift to myself, a beach and the sun. Otherwise everything is good, enjoying my new apartment, new roommate, new workout program etc. Everything seems to be in harmony. Think a lot about home, but I keep reminding myself it's all worth it in the end. Also miss Jare. Not too much longer till I see everyone. XoXo
