It's been forever !!!!

I haven't seemed to have much to say, but now that I'm engaged and planning a wedding I seem to have alot on my plate. I was home for a month over Christmas and got a tone of things done. Got my DRESS!!!! reserved our cake person, DJ, the Coast Hotel is booked for the ceremony and dinner. We bought the girls bridemaid dresses from Le Chateau, I bought ribbon, and vases for our centerpieces. And recently bought some lighting, buying the tulle for my veils, yes veils, and buying chair covers and well ya thats it for now. Haha, seems like alot for being 7 mths out but I'm not home to do it once a week. Also over Christmas me and Jared did a photo shoot with his sister in law Kinsey Holt. We had a blast and she did an amazing job. Here's one pic so far....

Now I start school on thursday and I'm back at it till July. Then come home, finish wedding plans, get married, go on a much deserved honeymoon and find a place to live and a job. Can't write my Canadian registry until January 2012 but I'm optamistic and will continue trekking. This year is bringing many exciting things for me and Jare and we just can't wait!!!!

I'm Engaged !!!

On November 27th we were walking through a park in Fort Collins, Colorado. It was a gorgeous day, you could see the mountains and there was a beautiful lake!!! Also there must have been 50 Canadian Geese and a gorgeous archway. Jared got down on his knee and told me he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me.

I couldn't ask for a better friend and companion to spend the rest of my life with. I'm so lucky

Halloween 2010

So EVERY year we are very last minute on deciding what we wanna go as. No surprise there, but this year we swore we would decide early... Which didn't happen!!!! I can't wait till we move home and get to go to my sister's halloween party, she always has the best costumes and they are usually homemade. I am definitly going to look into making costumes for us next year!!!


This year I found a Dorthy costume and Jared made his where's waldo costume, he looked so great!!!

Lately.....

Update of school and clinicals!!!

• I can basically x-ray any part of the body!!! We just finished up learning how to x-ray the skull, facial bones, sinuses etc.
• I'm at the VA right now for clinicals, tonnes of responsibility but I'm learning to do everything on my own, lots of brain storming.
• My classes are going good, Got four A's right now and a B!!! I know, I was so busy the first 2 months, drove 30 times to Fort Collins (45 min one way) that I was so tired I was definitely slacking in my classes.
• I only have 13 more clinical days and a couple more tests before Christmas time.
• Lastly I'm almost done school!!! Only 7 more months and I will be a registered X-ray technician (In the U.S.A.), and hopefully can write my Canadian national exam by Sept 20th, but may not be able to do it till Jan 2012 :(.

This guy doesn't look so good!!! Haha.

So this weekend is Thanksgiving at home, It's hard to be alone and without turkey during this time. But I am thankful that I have such a wonderful boyfriend and such an amazing family. Love you all!!
